Canada s Role As The Allied War Effort Significant Or Not

When the Second World War began it changed Canada and the rest of the entire world. This war involved a vast majority of the world’s nations and included all the world’s greatest powers. This war would become known as the most wide spread war in history and directly involved more than 100 million people from 30 different countries all around the world. Was Canada’s role in the Allied war effort significant or not? I believe it was because Canada made a lot of sacrifices and showed a lot of commitment to their Allies to help with the war effort in many different ways and made a difference. My 3 arguments used to prove my point are economic factors, technological factors, and military factors. My first key argument to defend my thesis is economic factors. Canada was just not worried about supplying their troops with supplies and munitions but worked to produce munitions and supplies for all the Allied forces. To prove this in 1940 the Canadian government established the department of munitions and supply to control the production of munitions for Canada and its Allies. This department not only equipped Canada’s forces but got orders from all over the globe. . The influence of organizations has increased to a point that it defines our culture. It has done this to a point that our local, national and global communities could be defined as an organization. However, analyzing the influence of small scale interpersonal communication on the â€Å"global organization† is not feasible. Because of this the study of organizations is focused mostly on the members that have a direct and significant influence on an organization they are involved with. This ranges from CEO’s, managers, employees and customers. The communication between the groups and within each group is going to vary greatly, and it also depends on the role that each individual is in. With the near limitless communication possibilities in organizations makes it fascinating to look at how the communication facilitates the development of community in an organization Even by limiting organizational communication to this smaller sect of the globe it still accounts for almost all communication that an individual participates in outside of the family and relationships. This mixed with the wide variety characters in the organizational melting pot it gives researchers a chance to look at interracial, nterpersonal and group communication on a regular basis that otherwise would be much harder to look at. Also studying organizational communication gives companies and individuals to improve their communication and the efficiency of their business. The most valuable part of this article, and even this assignment was to develop a better understanding of the field that I am studying. When I first started in this minor I never had a good understanding of the organizational part of organizational communication. Through this article there has been a development of understanding, and a new ability to apply the information I have studied for the last three years. Every time I hear or read about how young the field of organizational communication is its really astounding how much it has grown. A History Of The Renaissance Period History Essay The Renaissance was a period in European history marked by a cultural flowering. The Renaissance is defined as the revival or rebirth of the arts. The home of the Renaissance was Italy, with its position of prominence on the Mediterranean Sea.   Italy was the commerce capital between Europe and Eurasia, during this time period, from fourteenth and sixteenth centuries. Painters, sculptors, and architects exhibited a similar sense of adventure and the desire for greater knowledge and new solutions. During the Renaissance, artist were no longer regarded as mere artisans, as they had been to the medieval past, but for the first time emerged as independent personalities, compared to poets and writers. Many artisans merged mathematics with art, in order to become more precise in their measurements and to make sure an object was supported both rationally and proportionally. However, Renaissance artists also placed human concerns and feelings at the center of their works. Such optimism combined with intellectual curiosity and increasing worldliness made it possible for art to be valued. Over all, the Renaissance art movement completely discredited the middle Ages as being dead both intellectually and artistically, thus rendering the Byzantine, Romanesque, and Gothic style art as being without value. The Renaissance came from a revival of the Classical ideas, concepts, and knowledge.   What had once been forgotten was once again the focus of society.   It was also found that in Classical times artists enjoyed a much higher level of prestige than they did during the Middle Ages.   Artists wanted to enjoy this status once again. The latest from the Welsh stable are, The Canals of Mars (poetry collection) by Patrick McGuinness, Minhinnick (anthology of contemporary Welsh poetry), The Prince of Wales (a novel on modern Cardiff) by John Williams and Y Pla (‘The Plague’, a novel) by William Owen Roberts. Thus, translations are doing fine with experts in zone like Andrea Bianchi and Silvana Siviero, who are translating their 11th book from Wales. Bianchi’s own poetic prowess joined with Ms Siviero’s 13 years of ‘on the soil’ experience. High on success, they have branded their works as Parole dal Galles (Geiriau O Gymru).
